The name is from a small village 15 km southwest of Karesuando.

The top of the handle is by walnut, the two thin light discs are of natural birch and the bottom of the handle is made of heat treated masur birch.
The blade is made out of stainless steel, Sandvik 12C27, hardened to 57 HRC.
The sheath is made of cowhide with an internal cut protection.
